I recently had a new sliding gate with track installed at my second home by Able Gates and Fencing, and I couldn't be more pleased. Errol arranged on-site spray painting for my palisade fencing, and the team also repaired the swing gate between the driveway and the new sliding gate. The workmanship was excellent, and the response time was impressively fast. Errol and Sue were incredibly kind and professional throughout the process. Paid a deposit and still waiting for installation a month later. No feedback or updates from them unless you threaten, then you get long stories and losts of maybes. Errol, to be honest the only times you contacted me was when I initiated contact. Why be so secretive and offer explanations after the fact, and only if the client asks for a update?

Dear Ruan, You are right! You have waited far too long for your installation and for that I offer my most sincere apologies. In good faith you paid a deposit on 18/03/2025 and you have every right to want your gate on time. On 01/04/2025 I contacted you to arrange the installation for 03/04/2025. That was when it started to rain hard for several days. Then I noticed some paint problems which Cedar paints in Broadacres were most helpful in sorting out the problem turned out to be high atmospheric humidity. I am sure that Tiaan at cedar paints will be happy to confirm and explain this. All the gates in my yard had to be stripped down to raw steel and repainted. This put us back a lot. I did call and advise you about this and you agreed that it would be better to take a little longer to achieve a good result. I acknowledged that four weeks may seem a long time however considering that it has been raining for most of that time I do not think that it is unreasonable. I cannot allow my staff to work with power tools in the rain, and it is not possible to paint in wet weather. I am sincerely sorry that I have not been able to get to you sooner and will do my utmost to address your complaints. Best wishes. I waited 3 months to post as I wanted to be sure. I received 4 quotes and Able Gates were the most expensive, but Errol the owner of Able Gates came out personally and just left the best impression that the work will be done right the 1st time. So happy I went with them. The gate is beautiful and functions perfectly! Best of all they completed everything including groundwork new concrete base and rail whilst we were away. Came home from holiday with a beautiful new gate and everything left secure, neat and tidy. Can fully recommend them!

Able Gates have just installed ClearVu equivalent fencing at my home and I highly recommend them. Their initial advice was spot on (they have undoubtedly sorted out my dassie problems) and the quality of the product installed is phenomenal. Their team completed the entire installation in one day. True professionals. I would definitely use them again.

Able Gates installed some fencing and gates for us a few years ago just as we moved into a new house. The guys installed the gates on the day we moved in, and they even helped me carry boxes into our new home! Everyone we dealt with has been professional and friendly from day 1 and the quality of the work is EXCELLENT. More recently they assisted us with moving their gates as we were renovating and needed some changes. Highly recommend Able Gates!
